Little Jamaica - Amityville

I have been a frequent visitor to this Japanese restaurant since I was a child. During one visit in 2017, I noticed a white woman and a black man ordering food. I was pleasantly surprised to see this rare interracial couple in a Jamaican restaurant. The food was delicious and I couldn't help but think how lucky the black man was to have a white woman as his girlfriend. The mix of Jamaican spice and interracial romance made for a memorable dining experience.

The jerk chicken at this restaurant is extremely spicy. I ordered it once and had to wash off the seasoning with water in order to eat it. I enjoy spicy food, but this was too much for me. I may visit again, but I won't be ordering the jerk chicken.

Sweet Little Jamaica cooks the food for our graduation party. The food was excellent! Everyone could take a little Jamaica home when he was gone.

I drive 40 minutes from where I live to come here for good Caribbean food. Haven't found a place closer to me that has food as good as Little Jamaica.
