Our Backyard Bbq - Amherst

My friends and I stayed here on our trip from NS to PEI, as it was highly recommended by our friend who worked in Amherst. We were blown away. The prices are large and the prices are generous. I ordered the Ultimate Poutine with cattle breeze and it was one of the best poutins I've ever eaten! The beef breeze is made fresh every day and you can say it. It was phenomenal. My friend got the Brisket sandwich and was very impressed and my other friend had the fried chicken sandwich she said was juicy, crispy and the perfect amount of bread. The guy who served us was funny and friendly and delivered excellent customer service. Very recommended.

Excellent good food. The prices were fantastic and the portions were huge. Owner was also very pleasant and welcoming. Very recommended. We went at noon on Saturday and there was hardly anyone in there. By the quality of the meal, you would think that the place would be lined out of the door! No question.

One of the best places I've ever been, very friendly workers and a great price for the amount of food you get. Mac and cheese together with baked beans are delicious and are a great pairing with the best and most tasteful brisket. The sauces are ineffective and the frits are a perfect crispy and tasty. Can't go wrong with food here!

It was the best smokehouse, couldn't eat anything. Very tasteful.

Absolutely exceeded expectations probably THE BEST brisket I have ever had. I also had a half rack of ribs and chicken wings. Everything was so flavourful and not over smoked juicy too. Looking forward to going again :
