Ye Olde Pancake Station - Amarillo

This is a must-stop breakfast joint. The staff was super friendly. Prices were extremely reasonable.

The pancakes are pretty good, but the environment and atmosphere is poor ???????? The flies were bad here and I had to pick them out of my butter before eating; however my biggest complaint is the poor seating layout. It is very cramped in thisrestaurant, and I was seated right along a walkway. Not only did I have people constantly brushing up against me as they walkedby, but other patrons were so close to me I couldn?t help but overhear their entire conversation about how a 350 pound type 2diabetic was so rushed in the morning he didn?t have time to drink his morning sweet tea? tragic. ??????????? The omelette Iordered was made in a unique way that made the cheese consolidate in one end of the omelette. Very average.

Oh so delicious ???? A big local favorite, fast and friendly service. I had bacon, eggs, hash browns with bisquets and gravy, bisquets are soft and fresh. Coffee was delicious! and someone always making the rounds for coffee refills. My server, Rosiewas the best! Passing thru, so glad I stopped.

Truly the best pancakes we?ve ever had! The mexiscramble was delicious too husband loved his burrito. Super friendly service and dang good coffee too. Must try this place

If you love down home cooking breakfast kind of places like we do, this is your place. We were originally going to go to Brent?s Cafe, but they were closed, and we happily stumbled upon this place. The place was packed. Don?t judge the parking lot fullnessby your wait time. The parking lot was full when we went and we only had 5 minute wait before we got our table. The waitress wasso friendly. Everything came out delicious, hot, and with a smile. We enjoyed the hot chocolate, western omelette, chocolatechip pancakes, and biscuits and gravy. We?d stop here again in a heartbeat.
