Ihop - Amarillo

The last time we visited IHop was before COVID and it was terrible. Today we decided to try it and it was much better. They were out of some things because the old manager just didn't order them, but the new one said it was all ordered, just didn't get. They were very friendly and went out the way to help us get a meal we want.

It was a terrible experience there. We waited an unexpected time for our order (one hour and a half), just to say that our ticket was thrown out and he was about to start our order. You had nothing I wanted to command. I lost my phone there and when I called back to him the next day, no one had a hint of what I was talking about. Then they want to talk about giving us a discount of $5 for waiting. You never go back there. Just reason we stayed was because a good friend came and joined us. I was disappointed and outraged by the workers and the administration of this place. Not the experience I was hoping for.

2 combos from I hop ordered for 2 persons. You'd think it's a pretty basic order, but instead it wasn't. I ordered it to deliver and sat outside because of the fact that I kovid. But when it came here, we had only one combo. Worst experience. I'll never order from me again. Waiting to talk to someone about getting my money back. Absolutely terrible experience. From the I-Hop order on 1711 East Interstate 40, AMARILLO, TX 79102. Wouldn't recommend going there EVER.

We were quickly served. The waitress who served us was very friendly.

This IHOP was near our hotel so it was convenient on this windy evening to not have to go far. We had the dining room almost to ourselves but the service was efficient and the server friendly. The food was good and the parking and restrooms adequate.
