Holiday Inn Express Suites Langley

I give this place an overall low rating purely because of the customer service by the manager. Certainly not the two reps who worked the front counter on the late morning of Sept. 3. They were absolutely amazing and compassionate. We were to check in that morning, we actually had them hold our luggage for 1/2 hour as we were early arriving before we had to suddenly leave because of a family emergency. I understand completely that we would forfeit our money because of this but still asked for a credit as we were coming down again on the 16th and 17th for a night or two. The rep we dealt with that day actually called me a couple days later and her first order of business was to ask if everything was ok. Very professional of her to start off our conversation with this and appreciated. She told me that the manager would call me the next day (Tuesday) with a decision of weather we would be given a credit. Well I guess he/she (manager) decided to take the easy way out and just see if our request would just slide away by not calling to inform me either way. Guess I’ll be booking another hotel now as customer service means everything to me when paying a lot of money to sleep. My husband and I stayed here for a week and we really enjoyed our stay. Great service, friendly staff, great breakfast and super clean! The ladies that make the breakfast and clean the rooms are rockstars.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. The service I received from Nikhil at the Holiday Inn was *by far and away* the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. I can’t even describe to you how dumbfounded I was with the attitude and the smug remarks from this employee of the hotel. Disrespectful, rude and arrogant, Nikhil would not even look up from his computer when he talked to us. I could go on about the childish behaviour from Nikhil, but instead I’ll finish by saying that my girlfriend was crying all night because of this employees unbelievably poor attitude and downright unwillingness to be even remotely helpful. This hotel should be ashamed to employ such a person, and needless to say I’ll never return to this location nor will anyone I know.

Everything is great but the pool! The hotel is pretty modern. It’s in a great area with lots of food options walking distance as well and 24 hours. There is a pool and sauna it stay open till 11. The pool is really bad and had hair and was cloudy I will not let my kids swim in it, so that was a big bummer. Staff is super awesome!

Check in was smooth, Room was pretty clean and beds comfy. Bathroom is super small and cramped (especially if travelling with kids). POOL IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. So cloudy and smells fishy (even swimming lesson instructors were commenting on it). I would absolutely not let my kids in the pool, they were so disappointed but understood as they could see how nasty it was.
