Bidrage med feedbackI often say they can judge a restaurant by the quality of the brotes. here the brot is made by the owners and it is by far the best brot I had in a restaurant. do not condemn eating by looking at the place. it is a very old restaurant that needs a coat of fresh color. eating is great!
We were recommended at this place and we were really blown away by a cook who knows his craft and all the secrets of traditional French recipes, all freshly cooked and handmade. be not shy and ask him for his recommendations! place like this...needed support! we will definitely come back.
Coming back from skiing holidays at Les 3 valées we paid again a visit to this restaurant. Some of us took the menu Savoyard (a lot of cheese, of course) and some took the menu at 22,5 euro which offers good value for money: a...starter, main dish and dessert or cheese. Nothing wrong to be said about the food, no fine dining of course. I recommend the calf's foot, which is delicious, realising that nog everybody might like this kind of dishes.
I had the 30euro 4 course fixed menu and the food was excellent large portions perfectly prepared using fresh, quality ingredients. The ambience and staff are traditional French (best to know some basic Francais! . My only regret was ordering the house red to accompany my...steak the quality and preparation of the meat deserved a better wine! The salads (under 10euro looked excellent as well if your not too famished.
As always excellent. I've eaten a potjevleesch (northern speciality) with the fries houses, the children (great) have taken knife tartare and fish madam (bar). I recommend.
