A&W Restaurant - Abbotsford

I had some extra time, missed breakfast, and noticed my partner had A&W coupons in the car. I decided to try a breakfast combo, thinking it couldn't be that bad. Unfortunately, it was awful. The sandwich was okay but too greasy. The coffee was warm, not hot. The hash brown tasted like it was cooked in old oil and fish. It was just disgusting. I quickly visited the washroom before leaving and found it dirty and disgusting, with a broken toilet seat. Maybe not all A&W restaurants are this bad, but in my experience, it seems like they've been focusing more on advertising than improving their product. I won't be returning.

It had been several years since our last visit to an A&W. We decided to stop by for a quick meal while traveling through the area. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, as it was after the lunch rush. Our food was served promptly and met our expectations for fast food. While nothing extraordinary, the cheddar bacon burger was tasty. However, the habanero chicken sandwich lacked the expected spice. Overall, it was a decent option for a fast lunch. The staff was friendly and the restaurant seemed clean and well-maintained.

The restaurant has a welcoming staff and is very clean. The food arrived promptly and was of high quality. It was not overcrowded and there were plenty of seats available. I recommend this place for breakfast.

I decided to try A&W 's beyond meat burger, so on my lunch break I drove thru and placed my order the person who took my order was very pleasant. When I drove forward to the next window to pay, they never even said hi , nor did they repeat what my total owing was, they just handed me the interac pin pad. When I finished paying, they handed my my food and didn 't look at me or even say thank you , they looked away and kept talking with each other. I found that to be very rude and extremely lacking in basic customer service at the very least employees should thank each customer for their order. When I returned to work, I called and spoke with the assistant manager to let her know what my experience was like, as I am a former retail manager myself and I notice this type of poor customer service quite easily. The service is very good; the food tasted fresh. I will go back. It appeared they where following all new Covid health rules
