Motorest Koliba Stráže - Zvolen

Slovak traditional farmhouse restaurant, with long tradition. I visited this restaurant from my teenager and they always have a nice customer service and have a great kitchen with typical Slovak dishes. Restaurant also has seats outside, and smoker table outside. Very well organized during a corona. I have to highlight restaurant staff - always polite, friendly and professional, also very fast and do not leave customers without notice and care. Take away food is also available. From the parking lot it is quite beautiful view of the city of Zvolen. definitely recommend to visit

Great food for good prices, friendly staff. If you want to eat really delicious traditional Slovak cuisine near Zvolen, I highly recommend this place. The restaurant has very good location near the highway, but it is also not far from the city. For Zvolen you have to drive there, it is not in the walking distance. It is opening hours also give a hint that they prefer customers who want to eat instead of eating, but on request they can stay longer, especially if you have a kind of celebration for larger group of people

This is really one of the better restaurants I've ever visited. Eating is always fast and very tasty, servings are absolutely huge! The place is very clean and you can either sit inside or outside in the summer months.

Highly recommended restaurant for Slovak traditional food, but not only. Price range . Clean, good service, enough parking lots. I wish for more Slovak folklore, but this is my preference. All good

This chalet restaurant is on the outskirts of Zvolen which has some delicious traditional Slovak food. The waiters are very friendly and they have a English menu available if you don't understand the Slovak language so you know what they are servicing. The drinks are nice and cold which goes well with the food.
