Schuetzenhaus - Zuerichsee (ZH)

Very nice restaurant with a great kitchen and friendly staff. The fish was prepared to perfection and the steak tartar was spicy (I ask for the spicy one) very nice. The setting is wonderful. I can highly recommend.

Very delicious food, amazing vegan options and the desserts are amazing as well. The service staff gave as really good recommendations and the atmosphere in the evening is perfect

Reservations are recommended, the restaurant is usually fully booked. Good fish dishes. The boss and staff are very friendly.

On Monday we had lunch at the Schützenhaus restaurant in Stäfa. It is a small, cute, historic house located directly on the lake and is run by the fourth generation as a traditional restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home in the cozy restaurant. Whenever we dine near the lake, we always choose local fish. So my wife ordered the fist fish and I ordered the perch fillets meunière. We were both given a 'small ' mixed salad beforehand. We had a great lunch here, in this very well-kept house and the lovingly decorated restaurant, with very tasty food and great service. The portions were very generous. After the main course we were full, so full that we unfortunately didn 't want to order any more dessert. We 'll do better next time!

Hello, I was in the Schützenhaus at the end of July 2023 and ate fish and drank wine. Afterwards drank an espresso. Afterwards I had heartburn at home and had diarrhea at night. I'm assuming it's from the fish. It smelled like it too. Why is this happening?
