Regenbogenbar - Zürich

Absolutely hopeless. When we arrived, some women smoked in the middle of the terrace. It turned out that one of them was the manager. After she finally finished smoking, she was attacked to take our order. At that time we were too hungry to talk like that, went out. Terrible service.

My wife and I had just got to Zurich and were enjoying walking around the old town where our hotel was , when we turned up an alley and into a thriving square. The vibe is great in this part of town with lots of bars and restaurants with people spilling onto the street. We were looking for something light to eat and the Regenbogen had a bunch of blackboards advertising salads and so that was perfect. We got a table outside in a humming patio that was filled with people well along their way to a good time. Lots of drinks, laughter and chat. Our waitress came to the table quickly to see what we wanted to drink. The drinks menu is extensive with a few stables marked as specials , Moscow Mule and Mojitos. I was in the mood for white while and by the glass options are many. After a few drinks our food came. The kitchen was busy so the food took a while, but you should not care as the patio is a great place to soak up the friday post work vibe. I had a large salad and my wife had salad and fish. The salads were plentiful, in mine a little too much dressing so by the end it was soupy, but the lettuce was crisp and tasted good. I ordered a side of chips. They came but were wrong and when I told the waiter (not ours) he said oh its a different cut. I said OK as it was not a big deal but after realizing his mistake he came back after a minute took them and delivered them to the right table and ours to us from the kitchen with a sashay of too cool for school , who cares vibe. Whatever no big deal. The location is fab. The vibe good. Prices are a bit on the high side but for the location its worth it , and a dinner for 2 with a few glasses of wine plus tip was about €90.

We had the lamb sandwich and chili mango salad and were not disappointed. Friendly service, reasonable price, and one of the most flavorful lunches I’ve enjoyed in a long time.

I love this bar and also the kitchen it is run and managed very well and I really feel at home here. Just got past and enjoy! :

Tolles 2-geteiltes Lokal mit wunderschönem Innenhof und schöner Terrasse. Oftmals ist dort Life Musik was zum wohlfühlen in dieser kleinen Oase Beiträgt. Das Essen ist sehr abwechslungsreich, frisch und lecker und wird relativ schnell serviert. Kundenstamm ist sehr gemischt und echt eine coole Lokalität. Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend
