Cozy underground industrial plant. great innovative kitchen full of raw and honest aromas. Eat is well prepared with a lot of love to detail and pretty looking teller. well won ingredients and weep to die served in a wise that is very appealable. will be back!
This was a really pleasant evening not perfect, but it is a place I will definitely return in autumn when they will have game on the menu. first they were super friendly, informatiw and helpful .a big plus! the room is an interesting and if you have the right table, you can watch the staff at work what it is worth definitiw. I was a little disappointed with the table it was a nice size, but very cold when it is 0c out, it is not pleasant to touch a table that is very cool, probably great in summer to touch but not ideal in winter. (a funny touch was the Swiss poor knife to reap her green with the focus of our dinner and wein. it was unforgettable. the wine pairings were varied and went well with eating. I was glad we went with the pairings in the opposite to a single bottle. almost all small dishes were excellent, we especially loved the cheesefondue ravioli and the snake (snake) brot. the pig bell was a little small to share. overall the portions are small, eating is delicate, different and delicious. I'll always go for that much heavier eating. my wife and I agree both that this is a restaurant to go back, as the food is that they simply never make home, it is a real joy to show up and simply discover different food and taste. we're coming back!
Chris Züger and his team represent the new age of fine dining that captures the spirit of our times. Fantastic local products respecting nature, starting with bio beef from canton Graubünden, caviar produced in the canton Wallis without killing the sturgeons, ingredients collected in the...woods around Zurich and different wines in natural finish. The amazing five course dinner is offered with wine pairing based on very carefully selected producers. I also tasted the non alcoholic beverage pairing which is really amazing and next time I'll go for that choice. I had a very pleasant evening, experienced a surprise at every course and agree with the philosophy of Chris Züger reflected in the name of his Restaurant ... you need to remember what you eat at his restaurant ... Memoire.
After I have read so good reviews, we want to try this restaurant. I like the concept. You are sitting like in the kitchen watch the cook .. the small restaurant is in the celler.. the staff is very friendly. Everything was good and we...also like the starter spinach salat) but the main dish was dissapointing. I had the fish and my bf the vegeterian dish. It sound everything good on the menu but the food was tasteless. No salt or pepper. The taste was missing. On the menu was written grilled fish... but I could not taste it.. also the vegetarian menu no salt at all.. I think they have good Ideas.. but it needs more tasting.
