La Cittadella - Zuccarello

Deliciously eaten in the heart of zuccharello and founded despite the late hour. Ravioli and wild pig were on the menu and both were fine.

Best meal on the riviera in two weeks! This is one of those places people say “you just need to know where to go”. First of all, it’s a small family restaurant located in medieval village of Zuccarello just a short car or bus ride from Albenga, right across of a beautiful church. We had a fish soup of the day that was loaded with delicious fresh Ligurian seafood and a beef goulash, with some good wine and homemade dessert. The service was great too. We were lucky to stumble upon this Italian culinary gem.

Suggestive medieval village in the hinterland of albenga . in the street inside, pedestrian is found this characteristic trattoria . pleasant to dine outdoors on the street near the arcades . good mixed appetizer of meats and cheeses excellent ravioli . correct price euro per person . pleasant and attentive . simple but clean .

Good food but nothing of which. The gulash seemed like a great break. the appetizer of meats and cheeses was nothing special.
