Oh wow, I highly highly recommend this for your fix of unagi craving. We come here every time we are in taipei and still blown away with the quality of food. But take note that they have quite a bit of small bones. The grilled squid with lemon is also worth a try, the skewer is abit tough tho, probably wouldn’t order tt the next time.

Price is a little over average. Quality of eel is slightly above average, the rest of the food is average. The service was not good. Place was hot and stuffy. Seats were crowded. Please expect to be seated with other dinners when dining here.

2nd of 10 Taiwan eating enjoyment. Delicious good value Japanese style eels in Taipei. Every dish is freshly prepared, well cooked very tasty. Ordered a large serve of eels really enjoyed the meal. Try to get there before lunch time. Hope you like seafood such as eels.

Long queue but moves fast esp for 2 or 1 pax. Food service is almost instant after ordering. Food are delicious with free green tea if you like.

The eel rice is definitely the star of this restaurant!! The eel is nicely roasted and the sauce is fantastic! Service is good and fast. They serve the food so nicely but in a fast manner. The raw oyster with the special sauce was so good and the fried one was juicy too. The prawns are fresh but having the shell sticked to the meat after grilled takes a few mins to peel. hahah the price is definitely very affordable.
