Ai Pioppi - ZEVIO

Travelling south of Verona after football, we found this pizzeria in the small village of Zevio near the Transpolesana dual carriageway. We went for pizzas, although there is a small restaurant menu too. The food was excellent the staff fine, in a modernly-decorated restaurant with ample car park. Only tiny gripe was that they obviously don 't expect crowds, our party of five turning up on a Saturday night meant that we couldn 't all have pizzas with wholemeal dough as there wasn 't enough in the kitchen, and they were also out of one of the wines we ordered. No problem, the other options were fine. Very decent prices: five pizzas two bottles of local wine (not vino sfuso two bottles of mineral water three coffees €70.

Pizza is awesome, many tasty topping combinations, rather cheap and free aperitivo while waiting for takeout and if you dine in, they may offer some liquor at the end of your meal!!!

Simple place for a quick lunch. good choice .personal kind. convenient parking in front of the premises.
