Hotel is very clean, and near the train station. Easy to get to the shuttle stop as well. Great breakfast as well!
Während unseres Aufenthalts bot das Restaurant nur ein Tapas-Menü an. Es war absolut köstlich! Der Service war erstklassig und der Wein sehr schön. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder in dieses Restaurant gehen! Auch unsere beiden kleinen Kinder waren von der Tapas-Speisekarte begeistert (sie teilten sich eine).
We were 8 adults and booked two family suites. It is not indicated on the booking site that the suites have different rooms, a large one corresponding to the photos and a tiny one where two people can barely fit inside. When booking there are two photos of two large rooms so we expect that when arriving! Moreover, it is not said in the description either. This is false advertising, we spoke about it with management and we were told that we had two rooms per suite as planned, regardless of the fact that it did not correspond to the photos or the surface area. The hotel was apparently full so it was not possible to change rooms but we were not offered a partial refund or anything offered. In short, this negative opinion is entirely deserved, it’s a great scam. Breakfast is complete but in the basement and very noisy. The views from the rooms are either on the works or a bit of the Matterhorn between two trees. The positive point is being 5 minutes from the station.
Let’s start with the positives: the bedroom was superbly clean, the location was pretty good, the reception staff was very friendly and helpful, the sauna was great and the view from the bed was quite astonishing. Overall a great experience but for a 4 star hotel it has quite disappointing breakfast room. My reaction when I was following my girlfriend for breakfast was that we’ve entered the staff room. Having worked in hospitality for many many years, and having a degree in Hospitality management, I’ve seen a fair share of breakfast rooms and staff dining rooms, and I was shocked. When we’ve paid what we’ve paid (A LOT), I was expecting much better. As a staff member I never had a staff room as bad looking as this customer’s room. The pool was very crowded and nowhere near enough chairs. I’m not one to leave bad reviews so I’m giving 4 stars. I know how tough it is to work in hospitality
