Bidrage med feedbackProbably the most interesting museum in which I was. even the children enjoyed it! I remember the history of the monastery thanks to the ingenious interactive exhibition. large lockers, large caffe, the floor are generally worth to visit
If they have interest in middle age and religious history, then they go! amazing presentations of history.
The concept of the museum is very cool and modern with the interactive installations. However I found it quite limitating that I was supposed to listen to all these long audioguide talks, it was just too slow for me, so I had to skip some. It would be great if there was also written text that you can read faster if you are not a fan of talks for children. Unfortunately some installations and a kiosk in the entrance hall did not work properly. I really enjoyed the reconstructed interior, the aesthethic standard is really high. Except the entrance hall which is clogged by many flyers, roll-ups and other useless stuff. All in all definitely a place to visit.
An amazing museum with a very good self-guided audiovisual displays, with a multilingual audio guide. You can walk through in 30 minutes or be fascinated for up to two hours! The exhibits and lighting effects are very well done. Ground floor viewing the Cistercian order and art exhibits and the story of the woodcarvers of the monastery in the Zdar woods which were “ridden with devils” at the time! Up the stairway to the world of Baroque, trade discovery, theatre, the design of the nearby Zelena Hora church and an amazing exhibition of light in which you can create, move and react with light in this interactive artistic installation. A souvenir shop leads you back to the coffee shop at the entrance. Definitely worth the Kr150 entrance fee.
Nice and pretty modern museum. With some cool features.
