Bidrage med feedbackIt's a restaurant where we've been a couple of times and it's worth meeting. is in the heart of zaragoza, very accessible, although that is, in an area with certain parking difficulties according to what days and at what time. in a pedestrian street, opens doors to an elegant place, typical of snacks and rations, but with a certain touch of glamour that differentiates it from other restaurants of this type that have a more bar style. nothing else enters, the place has a wide bar, as well as a separate area with tables where I understand that you can eat based on sticks of the bar, which have exquisite paint and are presented with great care and dedication. It also has a large living room in the basement, quite large, although it is better to book for dinner here (on the top floor is not reserved to eat or dine with the skewers) because it is always quite full. the decoration is pleasant, modern and functional, and as I said goes beyond the typical snack bar. the very kind staff, but without excesses, attends quickly, in an organized and effective way. As for the food itself, the menu has a wide variety of rations and snacks; on this occasion we repeat asking for one of the specialties of the area, the eggs broken with pringa, an exquisite dish based on Dutch fries, fried eggs and pringa (favored and undone, as if you had taken it out of a cook); a 10 to this dish. other available tickets are a wide variety of salads with multiple options, and various rations of squids, scrambled, scaly-free, etc. without forgetting sausage dishes, longanizas and clays, as well as several carpaccios. Therefore, the options to start are abundant and varied. the restaurant also has speciality in the “velognas”, a kind of sandwich rolled, full of several things to choose, and covered I think by bechamel and cheese. apart, toast and snacks are gourmet, with quite sophisticated fillings; this time we risked with one of the fried teruel ham cream with longaniza and fried egg, which turned out to be exquisite; other friends took one of chicken truffled with lamb sauce, tied with fried and emmental bacon; all sandwiches in general are of this type, with very different ingredients of the usual. apart from this, you can also eat with meat dishes (and some fish, but few) more elaborated, not in the style of the appetizers, such as lamb palette, chochinillo, Iberian dam, stone grinder, soloist, etc. As for desserts, we tried two pyramids of ice cream (one of mandarin and one of lemon) and sorbet of lemon, but there were also cakes and other desserts that told us at this time. all we have tried from the letter on the two occasions that I have always been of enormous quality, good quantity and an exceptional flavor. Maybe if something in what is less exceptional are desserts, which are easier to find similar in other places and equals of good; but in what is the rest of the food, it exceeds the average quality and drop. in terms of prices, each sandwich costs €6, and €15 the broken eggs; yes, we were 4 and with half snack for each and the ration of broken eggs for the 4 dinners perfectly, we could have prescindido of the desserts. this, along with 4 desserts and 3 bottles of water made a total of 50 € between 4, so we went out to about 12-13 € per person, which was very good for the quantity and In short, it is a highly recommended restaurant, which goes beyond a simple place of snacks, since although the concept begins in it, it gives it a degree of delicacy in the products that is not comparable to almost any such site. a place to repeat more than once.
