Cafe Frances - Zapote Costa Rica

A strong 3 ! I'm surprised the reviews were so good. I wouldn't say food is bad but definitely far from good. I have no much to say since I wasn't impressed at all. Staff is helpful and friendly. The croissants are a disaster, a flat open weirdly creamy bread. The coffee and juices are really good, big and tasty. The rest of the food very basic and a bit salty. As the rest of the shopping mall it need a bit of maintenance and care, but it looks clean.

Very, very nice place, open, pleasant. My daughter and I enjoyed a very good cappuccino and some delicious cakes The strawberry cake was definitely my favorite I want to eat there again because I was very curious about their food, especially because the prices seem very affordable. The attention from the waiter was splendid; a gentleman. I loved the promotion of cappuccino plus pastries for only ₡2,500. Very good

It stayed in the 90s. The regular flavor Lomitos. The croquettes were very far from what they were. Friendly service but otherwise old-fashioned rather than traditional

I love the food and the atmosphere is very nice.
