Santo Mar - Guadalajara - Zapopan

Fish and oysters were trully fresh, great taste. the terrace has a great mood, is pet friendly, waiters are really helpful.

This restaurant is located in the probably best mall or food area in Zapopan/Guadalajara, it was just a kind of choice of type of food we wanted and seafood was the winner; this place, like all in this plaza, has one. inside as well as outside were usually crawled and completely light. menu has a lot of options and they can think very expensive, but prices were ok. we had fried calamares for starter and the pulp a las brasas (grilled octupus) both or they were super good. the staff was always smiling and trying to find out if they needed something else that was good, general eating and service were excellent and price was ok. it is in the did a very good option if they are located.

The seafood is good. I would say it's a hit or a miss for some of the articles. from the appetizer menu I like the octopus and I am not a fan of thunfischs. for the main dish I packed a delicious shrimp and rellenos in bacon. it was really good. the location is great as it is from a large shopping center in guadalajara. the music was too loud and a good converstation with our employees was tempered due to the high volume of music. the music actually matches the music videos that are played by half the television screens there.

While the menu is mostly seafood and I'm not a seafood person, the food was very good, rest of table got oysters, snow crabs, octopus, shrimp etc and was very happy with the choices. I got a steak which wasn't great but was very good....Atmosphere however was amazing, indoor outdoor areas that was also great people watching.

Went to Santo Mar with a business associate recently and was pleased with our choice. I really enjoy trying a new spot that fulfills expectations. The food is good, the place is clean and pleasant. It is well located, at Plaza Andares. There is no...reason not to give it a try if you are in the area. I usually stay away from new restaurants, this one has been here a short time, but feels like the kitchen and the public areas are well under control. It is not amazing in any regard, but it was a good solid choice for our lunch. I will return.
