Kholle House Boutique - Zanzibar

Had waited a great lunch from a very sweet waitress. We talked to the French owner for a short time. Very nice guy (the picture is just a joke). The place has an Indian touch with colonial furniture. I ordered octopus with potatoes.... Excellent!!

The only word I need to describe our stay at Kholle House is INCREDIBLE! This place in Stonetown cannot be beaten by architecture, design and friendly staff. I want to give the staff working here a special shout. From all my trips, they were the absolute best. Your sweet smile and excellent service and attention was so worthy and will never be forgotten! I will recommend all my friends and family to stay here if they ever travel to Zanzibar.

I booked the Swahili Suite and fell in love with Kholle House right away. The ambience is exactly what I was looking for in a boutique hotel that emphasizes local culture and history. I had to work a few days outside the hotel, and the internet in the restaurant/garden and on the roof terrace was excellent if you need good internet. The employees were all very attentive and enjoyable to know. I tried almost everything on the restaurant menu and it's all great. I'm sure you stay here. The fragrant Ylang-ylang tree in the garden on its own is worth a visit. The whole place has the most amazing scent thanks to this tree!

We had a very nice stay at Kholle Boutique Hotel! The Satff was super friendly, the food for breakfast and the restaurant were really good (the hibiscus juice is absolutely fantastic! . The whole hotel was recently rebuilt in the old style of the stone city, making it a true piece of art and history. It is not unusual that other tourists stop and ask permission to take photos of the beautiful doors and architecture. The bed was very comfortable so that they have changed things since the last bad comments two years ago. The hotel has a small but beautiful pool. It also has a massage centre and can organize excursions for the guest. It is also very well located to discover the old stone town A fair warning: It is right next to a historic mosque so if you are easily disturbed by the requests for prayer (which is part of the experience for me if you want to visit Muslim countries, you could go for a less authentic hotel:

We had an amazing stay at the kholle house the owners were great host and very friendly. And you must get the private dinner and music on the roof top. The food their is great amd so are the mixed drinks. Will definitely stay there again when we visit again.
