Karczma Zawierucha - Zakopane

Very picturesque, traditional Polish restaurant in a beautiful location near the ski jump Wielka krokiew. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a bright log fire and lively traditional music. the menu had a good choice of Polish food, burgers and pizza at a very reasonable price. our group of five decided on the traditional Polish farewell, main courses and whisper, all plentiful in the servings and very tasty. a special mention must go to our wonderful waitress milena, which was pleasant and friendly during our 2 half hour stay, even if the restaurant was later occupied in the evening. it was a joy to meet them. Overall, I would recommend visiting this warm, cozy restaurant if they are near Wielka krokiew. thanks again for a pleasant visit to karczma zawierucha, milena.
