V Starem Melinu - Zagreb

I am blown away by this restaurant. The food was exceptional, especially the local squid. Our waiter was extremely friendly and even performed magic tricks for us. Our dining experience here was incredible and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The outdoor dining area by the stream is fantastic, creating a great atmosphere! This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, with delicious food and excellent service. The grilled trout is especially tasty!

The restaurant is located in a restored mill, offering a charming ambience with a waterwheel in the creek running through the establishment, which is stocked with trout. Guests can choose to dine inside near the bar, outside in front of the main entrance, or out back by the creek either under trees or in a transparent tent to shield from weather disruptions. We enjoyed duck and malinci dishes, finding them satisfactory. The prices were very reasonable.

Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant today! While visiting Zagreb and it's surroundings we stumbled upon this enchanting place. The staff was nothing short of amazing, found us a table and gave great advice on the food which was delicious. I had the venison goulash and I almost cried of joy and the starter platter of local cheeses and cold cut was incredible. I recommend this place 100%!!!

Everything was perfect. Service is nice and friendly, typical local cuisine is available and definitely worth to try. Wine offer is also good. The restaurant has a nice wintergarden to sit,also nice location for family gathering or special events. Reservation is recommended. Thank you Dominik and for the staff for the nice experience.
