So salty could not taste the food. Menu is so confusing they take 10 minutes explaining how to decode. You have to look at the menu, then look at a chalk board on the wall, guess at the connection and hope you are right. After the first 5 minutes of menu orientation I glazed over, but she continued on and on. When I asked a question, the waitress look at my wife and said, it 's a guy thing . It was my 35 wedding anniversary so I bit my tongue. In conclusion, take your $75.00 and burn it, then eat the ashes, it will taste better.

We were in the area for the weekend and came across the Storming Crab and never pass up an opportunity to try a new seafood place. The restaurant is neat in itself as customers are allowed to sign the walls which gives it a lot of character. It was very busy and only had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. We did hear that they stop taking names for a waiting list around 8 and we figured that it’s because it took us about an hour and a half from start to finish. They have 5 different boils to choose from and we liked that fact that you can substitute an item out and only have to pay the difference. We went with lobster, crawfish and scallops in the butter garlic sauce with mild heat. Your boil comes out in a bag and they place it on a big platter for you. There is plenty of extra butter in the bag which allows you to dip your seafood in. They do provide you with plastic gloves and bibs. I recommend the bib!
This was our first visit. We did takeout and it was very disappointing. The fries were the best thing. The whole bag thing was weird, awkward and a huge landfill waste. Everything was soaked in that fake butter mix. The snow crab legs had very little crab. The crab legs were supposed to be in garlic butter and the scallops were supposed to be in plain butter but they mixed both together in one bag. The one potato tasteless corn thing is also weird but I guess they are imitating a clam bake. The muscles were decent as were the little bit of soaked crab. But the main complaint is that the rest of seafood was tasteless. If I drop $100 I expect I should enjoy more than just the fries! You can get much better seafood at Vernons, Cafe 422 or Station Square for the same price!
Had lunch here back in February 2020 and enjoyed it. Friends have been wanting to meet for dinner here and tonight was the night. Sadly, didn't even come close to meeting our expectations. Our server was both friendly and apologetic, but everything went wrong. Orders were all incorrect when brought to our table, server would go missing for 20 minutes at a time, and the place wasn't even busy. We waited forever...just shy of 2 hours passed when our meals finally came. Lackluster is what comes to mind. I can do a better seafood boil at home, and for a lot less money! We still tipped our server 18% because I felt sorry for her, and I know it's not an easy job. She was kind enough to comp us free desserts, but when dinner is $82 before the tip, I feel the good and experience should be better. Also, our checks were all wrong too. Sorry, but we won't be returning.
