Wendy's - York

I am not sure what happened at this Wendy's location, but the wait time in the drive-thru during midday on January 3, 2019 was outrageous. The staff's response to my complaint about the long wait at both windows was unsatisfactory, as I could not understand what they said. When I opened my Dave's Single Cheeseburger, it was disappointing - soggy lettuce, too much mayo, and the burger fell apart. The bun was also terrible. The franchisee of this place needs to improve the training of their staff and quality assurance for food products. The service and food quality were substandard. I will not be returning, even if the situation improves. There are plenty of other options nearby.

In my experience, Wendy's offers the best consistency in menu items such as the spicy chicken sandwich, chili, and burgers. In my opinion, Wendy's burgers are the best compared to other fast food chains like Burger King, McDonald's, and Harvey's. The burgers at Wendy's are just better than the rest, with a big, flavorful chicken breast used instead of processed patties. The Baconator series offers more sizes and better taste than burgers at other chains. Wendy's chili is also a unique offering, similar to the chicken soup at Harvey's or the Egg McMuffin at McDonald's. While Wendy's is slightly more expensive than other burger chains, the quality of the food is better.

I typically wouldn't review the same restaurant twice, but I had to give this place another chance after a previous visit with awful service and no English-speaking staff. This time, someone appears to have taken note as the service was much better. The food was the same as any other Wendy's, so no surprises there. The improved service has convinced me to return, especially since my children enjoy Wendy's.

Past are the days of the treatment of customers with a smile. the person who served me was unhappy and hated the job. okay, I understood it is wendys, but I didn't drive the job on you. are they polite and pretend to be happy! that eat their regulars. Chin finger and fries taste. I may not go back because she was so unhappy. my last time no one spoke English. I thought I'd give him another shot. I'm done!

Its nearby to our hotel in wood bine, so almost daily we sit there , either for a sandwich or a cofee, nice location, very friendly staff and good service, we like the chicken spicy sandwich and chilly fries, love to sit there for hours...and chitchat with friends.
