Soup du Jour - York

This restaurant offers a variety of homemade soups. They were really yummy and we were impressed by how many people came in for takeout soup, so much so that they were sold out of two varieties. Sandwiches were good, too. A nice quick lunch stop.

We came to Soup-pa for the first time today and glad that we stopped in. It serves great soup and sandwiches. On the menu this day were types of soup and at least a dozen sandwiches. They can be ordered separately or as combos...that comes with a bottle of water. I ordered a spicy salami and provolone sandwich and my wife had a bowl of mushroom soup. The sandwich was served on a warm panini accented with lettuce, mayo and onions which I chose from a variety of options. The soup did not have the heavy salt taste that most soups have. The server explained that they try their best to source their products locally and are always fresh. As a nice touch she gave us the dishes as a combo rather than paying as separately. Both the sandwich and soup were delicious and we plan to go back.

I work at the bike shop across the street, and I must say, the sandwiches at this restaurant are amazing. They are always my go-to choice. As the fall season approaches, I especially love their soups - they are my favorite meal.

Of us went there for lunch we got the only table for and had soup and sandwiches or soup and salad. You got to try the soup first to make sure it was to your liking! Decent portions and lots of...gluten free options (for a Celiac).
