Wildes - York

Beautiful little place with a great pub atmosphere. Service was good, food was delicious. Had a nice time with the family. I had a chicken burger with side salad and pommes. The place was at the time at a Saturday lunch time near Xmas York is massively busy. Quaint little hidden gem of a pub... maybe not so much hidden, but hey reasonable prices!

My husband, brother in law and I stopped at Wildes for Saturday lunch and the experience was wonderful. The staff was beautiful and offers a great service, and the food was inexpensive and delicious with generous portions. I enjoyed a mozzarella, tomatoes and pesto sandwich on Ciabatta bread, which came with a side salad and cramps.

A warm welcome to visit our dog. The staff was very attentive and friendly to ensure that we were happy and comfortable without floating. The service was so good that we would have been happy if the food was moderate. But the food was absolutely top notch with a good selection of veggie and vegan options. Very recommended!

In the last 2 years we are twice with the family and cannot blame the place at all. the coworkers are all friendly, eating and drinking was very good price (especially seeing as his in the center of york) and at both places everyone was satisfied with eating. rich portions and very tasty!

Great service! Really lovely staff, we came in a fairly big group and one order got mixed up staff fixed it super quickly and a free drink for the friend while waiting! Definitely go here, also check out the cool glass roof on the first floor.
