We stayed in York for 3 nights had a meal at the Plough every night, there were 8 of us. Brilliant food very friendly helpful staff. Definitely one to recommend.

Great pub grub. We visit when we're in York to see our son. I love the Nachos and chilli. Hubby and son have tried different meals and always enjoy them. Hubby had a steak last time which he said was very good. Service: 5 Location: 5

Had a very nice lunch, quick service reasonable prices. Good choice on the standard menu, but remember to look at the specials board on the wall, lots of extra alternatives to suit all dietary and ethical choices. Was there fir a retirement lunch fir a colleague so didn't stay in the rooms. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value
