Bidrage med feedbackWould never go back, Ordered a pizza £17 (not cheap) The server was polite, she told us the pizza oven needed to warm up which would take a while or the pizza would be cold in the middle. Not a problem we waited. After a very long wait the pizza arrived The cheese had solidified it was that cold, Base was icy cold. Not just cold ice cold. We reported it to the server she apologised and said a new one would be made After a not so long wait a brand new pizza arrived it seemed to be hot but again in the middle it was still frozen. We had waited that long we just ploughed through and ate it. Right at the start the server said we will warm the oven so pizza not cold in the middle. This sounds to me like it happens a lot. The bases are obviously frozen maybe the pizza is as well. Not what you expect for £17 for a 12” pizza. The server reduced the bill for us which we appreciate. But it was an awful experience
I've been to better places. Staff with better attitude, warm, kind and friendly. But this place is the complete opposite of that.
This is a fantastic hotel. Both in friendliness, room standard and helpfulness. Easy place to be social and a touch of American vibe. Special thanks to Jojo and Langford at the bar for the wonderful Carmac!!
I’ve commented on this restaurant on my review of Hotel Indigo but wanted to add on here. Pizza delicious. Pimms Delicious. Breakfast Delicious. Caramac cocktail out of this world. Didn’t particularly taste like a Caramac but it was sweet and creamy and delicious. Extremely Drinkable. I’ve not Stopped day dreaming of it for 24 hours now and I’m really Wanting to recreate it at Home.
The Restaurant is part of the Hotel Indigo, but mainly serves the Hotel breakfast. However we were suprised to learn that we had to book a time slot for breakfast, presumably because the restaurant is small for the number of rooms in the Hotel. I understand this reason as it will minimise the wait time for people, but sometimes when on holiday, you don't know what time you will wake up and want breakfast. The service was managed by 3-4 people who greeted, took food orders (It's a la carte for cooked items), served and cleared tables. As a result there is no continuity as everyone is trying to do everything. This led, on our second morning, to us being seated, given coffee, and had our cereals and had to try and get someones attention as our cooked order hadn't been taken though others arriving after us had. The counter to this is the quality of the food. The cereal and fruit options were more appealing than most hotels as were the breads and pastries. The main difference was in the hot food, the scrambled eggs with salmon, was good as were the Eggs benedict, the poached eggs being cooked perfectly. All in all a good breakfast.
