Kiosk - York

We had the best lunch we've ever had in York at this restaurant, with excellent service. The mince pies were also fantastic. This will definitely be our new favorite cafe. It has a laid-back atmosphere and is not pretentious at all.

The coffee was amazing and the cakes were delicious. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you're in York for a quick bite.

While en route to a concert at the Early Music Centre, we stumbled upon the Kiosk Cafe in Fossgate, a quieter part of York just within the city's old boundaries. This tiny cafe with limited seating was a cozy find, and we were warmly greeted by the staff. We enjoyed delicious Artichoke Soup and a huge bacon sandwich, along with a tasty cup of coffee. The cafe also had a tempting selection of cakes. We were impressed by the local pottery on display and ended up purchasing some coffee mugs and Darkwoods coffee beans later in the day. The warmth and ambience of the cafe added to our fantastic day out in York.

We travel to York regularly and have probably tried most of the coffee shops in town but this one is simply outstanding, the coffee is one of the nicest anywhere and its now our go to coffee shop. The food is a bonus and is fresh, delicious and presented well. Great place, great staff and a great atmosphere.

Have been excited to try this little coffee shop but was disappointed. Oat milk latte tasted weird and went in the bin after a few sips. Very small for the price as well. Much better options down fossgate.
