Lola On The Grill - Yonkers

Drive through Yonkers today and keep from Lola on the grill. For the first time, I must point out that the Mofongo is the best thing I've ever had compared to 99% of the Dominican restaurant I've eaten in Queens. Will be back for sure 5 stars all the way. It'll be worth the ride.

The best food in all Westchester County in my honest opinion. The staff is very attentive and cordial. This is quite a busy restaurant, but the staff always manages to give great customer service to my family and me. The shrimp Mofongo is my personal favorite! Thank you. The food is good, they have a wide selection of dishes. It's small, but they make it work. The line where the food is served is always clean. My mother, dad and man love when I bring something for them. The lemonade is fresh and has a sweet tar flavor as I like it. The desserts are okay, but expensive. Food is very affordable. Your Swai fish is delicious with yellow rice. Your kidney beans are on their way. Grilled chicken, tripe, oxtail, curry chicken are all good after my family. After his Dr. Appts it was my constant lunch and dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a small place to move fast. As for the manager, he's a nice guy. He runs a good deal. S/N: I was hesitant to taste this restaurant based on reviews, but I must say it was a great experience every time! They may seem to be their rudeness, but the line must move. If you decide a minute, let the next person go. It's a good restaurant. I come back and get a Lola loyalty card after 10 purchases you get a free meal. I'll redeem mine soon!

People there were amazing, the food was delicious. I recommend steak with onions, rice and black beans. The pernil had a great taste. I definitely go back.

I am surprised at all the negative reviews. I have never had an issue but maybe that has just been my experience. I love their food. I usually get their pepper chicken or pepper steak when they have it. I have been here quite a few times and have never been disappointed.
