Dos Marias - Yonkers

Excellent place for a nice family dinner or night out with friends.On this visit, we rented the top floor for a board meeting and the service and food were impeccable.The owner Alfonso always goes the extra mile to ensure you are having a good time.

Never again the waiter claimed I never gave her my card and I did. Waited there for over 20 minutes just so she can find my card when it was with the bill. And she had the nerve to have an attitude with me when she’s the one who lost my card. Never again stupid lady with never get my money again. Very poor service.

They offer two soy-based vegan tacos, al pastor and arabe, priced at $4.50 each. I decided to try one of each and was pleasantly surprised. The al pastor taco was delicious, perfectly capturing the traditional flavors, while the arabe had a refreshing lemon taste and was complemented by a tasty mole. The Happy Hours at Dos Marias run from 2-7 Monday-Friday, with margaritas on offer. It's wonderful to have a place like this in Yonkers, as there aren't many small restaurants in the city that offer and promote vegan options. I'm excited about the possibility of Yonkers becoming a more vegan-friendly city in Westchester.

I have visited this restaurant twice and found the guacamole to be a bit bland both times, however, the chicken nachos are delicious. The mixed drinks are excellent, especially the passion fruit mojito which I always order. The majority of the staff are friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.
