Monsoon Cafe Tamaplaza - Yokohama

Among my favorite place for dining/ chillaxing over lunch, either weekday or weekend, with my family. Large restaurant (yet always crowded particularly when the weather is nice... with relaxing atmosphere and good customer service. Good place particularly if you have a large group or have pet... I often go for the lunch set, I like the shrimp toast, pad thai and green curry (the spice is quite strong vs some regular Thai Japanese food Recommended to reserve in advance if you don’t want to wait, the line does get pretty long. Price could be slightly pricey, but I’m happy with overall quality atmosphere.

We went there at lunch time. It was pretty crowed but we had a reservation so we didn’t have to wait. There is only a lunch menu during the lunch hour so there were only four choices but we really liked the food. I’m not a big fun of shrimps but the shrimp toast here is somehow amazingly good. If you don’t like coriander then you may wanna mention it before you order food. I’d love to come back again there. The staffs are energetic, food is served in decent time and there is a parking lot for free.

Food was good! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Interior made me forget I was in Japan!

Tama Plaza and Maihama (close to Tokyo Disney Land) are the best Monsoon Café restaurants in Tokyo.
