Vault Cafe Bar Restaurant - Yarraville

There are some vegan options on the menu that are marked. I had the Risotto and the Paella (which was a special one). The Paella was amazing, a decent portion. It was so delicious. I hope they make this a lasting menu item. Vegan wines are also marked. They have internal and external seats. The service at every visit was good.

Sitting for dinner on Saturday night and while we got a table quite fast, we were told that food would last more than 30 minutes (extended for 40 minutes), they are not able to treat the extra tables outside. My drink never arrived and I had to ask two different employees. Then a beef burger came to me when I ordered the beet to make a vegan for me. When it actually arrived, it was delicious. My husband ordered the gnocchi as it is (Do not ask for the chicken for additional costs), but it came with chicken- he was really angry that he accidentally ate a piece of chicken. We will not return as three items of our order were wrong or were not delivered and they are not organized. A shame as they have a good amount of vegan items on their menu.

I had the Auberginentempura chips (delicious) and the vegan Risotto (quite good). I appreciate the effort Vault in her vegan options, even if it is not the most demanding. The service was good, though somewhat slow. But in summary, it is worth checking!

I was surprised to find this place empty when we were here on Sunday. We ordered the two vegan burgers. The Brekky Burger $15.50) was the nicer of the two, as the pumpkin and lentil Patty in the beast $17 with sweet potato wedge) was not really my thing. Both were pampered, although the beet root, which was basically jam. FFS, can Cafés not make vegan burgers without them taste like lion? The menu is quite large, so I might come back and try something else.

My wife and I have been to Vault three or four times now, either as a couple or with friends we have found the entire experience very pleasant each time. My only issue, and it is not only found at Vault is that the in house music is often too loud for normal conversation. I would recommend you give Vault a go!!
