Bidrage med feedbackDue to food sensitivities, my wife has stayed away from sushi for a long time. That’s why we were thrilled to stumble upon this restaurant, which clearly labeled its gluten-free options. But what truly exceeded our expectations was the expertise of our server, Nicole, who had an impressive understanding of food sensitivities and cross-contamination precautions. Thanks to her, my wife could savor a worry-free dinner. As for the sushi itself, it was fresh and flavorful.
We had a great dinner and great experience at Kawaii Tori Saturday night. The appetizers, the sushi and our meals were all excellent. The Beef Vermicelli and Kiss of Death were awesome. The manager Freddie and our server Ava were so friendly and attentative. Freddie snapped some family photos for us, and Ava was hustling and working hard. Five stars all around, a great intimate restaurant in Yardley Boro, definitely worth checking out.
We love Kawaii Tori. We have done take out and eaten in ever since they got their own space. There were some early bumps in the road, but that's all in the past. Eating in is always enjoyable. The staff is attentive and friendly. Tonight we had Justin, training his sister Ava. Both were knowledgeable and friendly without being stuffy and reserved. We really appreciate that casual atmosphere. And the Sweet Potato rolls are not to be missed. They are my all-time favorite!Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for those who are vegetarian or vegan.Parking: We came on a Tuesday, so no issues with parking.
Pricey, tasteless and definitely avoid in the future. How on earth does this place have 4.5 stars? Let’s start with ordering. We walked in and asked for take out the staff proceeded to request phone number as well as first name and last name. When we asked why would you need that if we’re standing if front of you with a take out order?! We were old the pos system won’t let us order without that information hmmmm.Let’s talk about the food. The 5 rolls you see in the picture came to $50. Yes $50 for two small trays the same size your grocery store has. Pieces are tiny! Twice requested extra ginger is nowhere to be found and finally the taste of sushi itself is well below average.
Service by Justin was very good. The portions were generous and everything was tasty. We will be back.Food: 5/5
