Bidrage med feedbackLet the food die! A must to visit when in Yangon, you have to try their mouthful water Duck Empanadas and the Nan Pyar noodles. Would like to go back to Yangon to visit this place again!
Excellent place in Yangon. Near the iconic Stranghotel, it is itself a monument of Yangon. Food is excellent, prices reasonable, and of course the tea is great (with a large chart to help you choose the right amount of bitterness and sweet/milk for you). Many variety: some Indian, Vietnamese and fusion, and many truly increased traditional food as well. The staff is patient and polite and not pressing. Very nice. You can enjoy Burmese time there and get lost a few hours in contemplation or with friends.
We were there in 2016. I love her mohingar Burmese noodle.
Good food. Expensive compared to other places in Yangon. The mutton samosa salad : comes in a lintel soup, loved the crispy hot samosas with salad tossed in. The dark choc samosa with ice creme was nice to try. But wouldn’t order again. The pork satay peanut chutney were good too. What we loved the most were the cocktails though. And the tea !
Amazing — stop what you do and go now! Very recommend Rangoon Tea House during in Yangon. My wife and I visited in January 2020. It was such a welcome and refreshing break after eating in Thailand for 2 weeks. Your cocktails, where even delicious. The tea leaf salad should die for the potato sauces. Atmosphere was great and price fair for the areas. I'm back!
