Bidrage med feedbackSince Mistura is in the Hotel Esencia, most reviews are probably included in the hotel review, so write this for people not stay in the hotel and want to eat here. We came for dinner and not as hotel guests as we were in Xpu-Ha on the beach. Previously, this restaurant was part of the Hotel Al Cielo, which was my favorite hotel and presented the fantastic cuisine of Paco and the worthy senior at the bar. The room is little changed except the bar is now away from the sea. It is a seaside restaurant with a to die for the view of the beach and the sea, a toweralin roof. For the atmosphere I give it 10 out of 10. The new cook is from El Bulli and fusionsLatin American and Asian cuisine. I'm a little foodie, I lived in Paris for a few years and I live in Chicago now, so I'm not a novice to eat. We have tried many articles on the menu and found that the food is exciting, with complex flavors and textures, and very tasty. The service was impeccable, our waiter kept a perfect pace and food and wine was well coordinated. It is expensive, but not unreasonable for quality and location. Of course, if you are staying at the hotel, you would try and have a special trip for those who do not stay at the hotel. A wonderful experience you don't forget.
Would you like to begin by not staying at the resort, which means we had to drive there by car rental. The resort is very exclusive and it is a process to enter, i.e. make sure you have a reservation and be ready to view your ID. Once you pass the front gate, go to the check in Bungalow, which then makes copies of your ID and you can leave your car there. A car will pick you up and get you closer to the resort. Then go through the property I have to say is SPECTACULAR and a cool experience in itself. The restaurant is just as beautiful. The food was excellent and unique for the area, but expect to pay the USA prices. The service was somewhat subdued in view of the staff. In short, worth the visit, but probably not again when in the area again.
Outstanding and comfortable at any point. World-class experience. Exquisite.
