Puerto - Xabia

The puerto from Javea is very nice. the small beach and the little restaurants with good food at the small boulevard is a nice decor for a summer evening. in the port a lot of nice boats are there and walking to the end of the port is really nice with a great overview over the sea. if you are in javea visit the puerto!!

Lovely place to have a walk, especially in the evenings or at the weekend. Plenty of nice places to eat tapas and local dishes or just have a drink and watch the world go by.

The Puerto is an environment separate from the Old Town and the Arenal. The front has a promenade dotted with bars and cafes and you can sit and people-watch. The Grava beach is a stony beach and hard on the feet but is popular in the summer. The actual fishing port of Javea is here and you can watch the fishing fleet come in around 5 p.m. and their catch auctioned as well as buy freshly caught fish from the boats at the Port Fish shop located there.

We have just come back from puerto del carmen and went into this bar were the food was good and andrew and his staff could not have been more friendlywe had breakfast there nearly every day of our 2 week stay we could not fault it and we were in there almost every night for drinks the atmosphere was excellent with good music cant think of anything bad to say about jintys wilma m
