El Puerto - Wytheville

I can't recall the exact name of the dish, but it featured chicken, shrimp, and steak, along with mixed vegetables, rice, and cheese. It was delicious, with a great balance of flavors from the meat and vegetables, and the portion size was impressive, especially for only $13. The service was superb as well; the waitress was very upbeat, and everything moved quickly. We were in and out in about 45 minutes, which included some time for me to look over the menu. They also take COVID safety seriously—employees wore masks, there were clear traffic directions for entering and exiting the dining area, and they used paper menus. I look forward to visiting again in the future!

We stayed overnight and our concierge suggested this restaurant. We were seated promptly and our drink orders were taken and served quickly. We ordered the Texan Fajitas for two, as recommended by our server, and it was more than enough for us! The service was fast, attentive, and precise, and the menu items were very affordable. We would definitely come back and recommend this place for delicious Mexican food.

We were in the mood for Cracker Barrel, but since they were unable to maintain their staff, we decided to give this restaurant at the entrance a try. We're really glad we did! The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The staff members were friendly and engaging. We'll definitely stop by here again on our way back to Delaware.
