The Crown - Wycombe

From the moment we stepped into The Crown we were given a lovely warm welcome! We took a table next to a warming fire which was much appreciated due to being -5 outside. Food was fabulous both choosing a main dessert. Service impeccable. Really relaxed, friendly nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be visiting again. Fantastic!

While house sitting in the area, we decided to have a 'date night' at a new restaurant. Our experience was flawless - the food was delicious, with a mix of tapas, a burger, and a crispy duck salad. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the garden was well-maintained. We sat outside but under cover, and the decor was vibrant. We enjoyed our experience so much that we returned the following week with a well-behaved dog, who was provided with plenty of water bowls. We will definitely be returning again!

As an Italian who has been living in this country for 21 years, I have to say that British cuisine, especially the Sunday roast, is vastly underrated. After a beautiful walk in the Chilterns, my companion and I decided to stop at The Crown in Radnage. The pub was clean, welcoming, and had a simple decor. The food was delicious - the beef slices were perfectly cooked, the potatoes were excellent, and even the kale and carrots were exceptional. The Yorkshire pudding was a great addition to the meal, and the cheese cauliflower on the side was delightful. Even the espresso, which we are very picky about, was more than satisfactory. The Crown is a bit far from Berkhamsted, but we would definitely go back. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone in the area - it's worth supporting!

My experience at this seemingly charming country pub in a beautiful rural setting was extremely disappointing. The food was expensive and the portions were small. Several orders were incorrect and the bill was inaccurate. Additionally, the service provided by the waitress was unfriendly. Overall, it was a huge letdown and a complete waste of time. I strongly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Good signage to socially distance. Nice food but not a lot of choice after covid. Pizza or a burger was the gist of it. I had a chicken burger and my partner a pizza. All was was you would expect for pub grub. Service was quick. We had a buzzer to let us know when our food was ready. The waiter was attentive and polite. Toilets very fancy and clean! We all would return here without a doubt
