Quick and friendly service. nice and quiet inside. the interieur is quite dated, but in a charming wise. good old caffe.

Very nice cafe with fantastic cakes and they have gift cabinets there as well

We were pleased to be able to visit after the lockdown. Our usual poached eggs on toast were their best again. Never disappointed when we visit . Pleasant service again quick. Sandwiches made for us for our journey home. First class thank you Sugar and Spice

Staff unfriendly, treated you like naughty school children! Food pathetic and over priced! It just doesn't cut it as a quaint tea shop! The whole place is dowdy and needs a refurb!

We enjoyed a lunch of toasties and crumpets with cheese. All food was excellent, and teas served with tea pot and pot of hot water too. We sat in a cosy section of the cafe which was intimate and suitable for chatting.
