Bidrage med feedbackIf you are interested in the Silvano in Wunstorf, you can quickly read about the little friendly service. Also my impression of previous visits at Silvano was that although the food is noteworthy, the advent is not particularly overwhelming. Since today, Saturday evening, our body and stomach analysts unfortunately did not have a table, but we had an inseparable desire for good food, we decided to visit the Silvano. The Silvano is located at an exposed location directly on the Old Market in the centre of Wunstorf. Parking is available in abundance. There is a very nice outdoor area in the open south-west facing position in front of the half-timbered house, from which one could very pleasantly observe the drifting on Wunstorf's roads if there were any. Arriving in the Deele we were not overwhelming, but correctly welcomed. Since we had no reservations and the free tables were apparently already reserved in the areas on the right and left of the Deele, we were guided to the upper floor to a foursome table. The menu was uncomplicated, but not the wine map; No recommendations were given, although on the ground floor there were tables with additional dishes. The selection of dishes is extensive, but hardly goes beyond the range usual in Italian restaurants. It is worth mentioning the large number of antipasti that can be put together in the deelen area from the buffet, and a variety of Bistecca with sauces in all kinds of flavors. We ordered 0.5l open Sangiovese (for which instead two glasses with 0.2l were brought to 4.80€, little memorabel , San Benedetto 0.75l to 5.60€ and 2 Lemon 0.4l to 3.40€, which was quickly brought. To the appetizer we chose Vitello Tonnato (9.50€ and Lachs-Carpaccio (9.80€ ), as the main food we chose Paillard di Vitello (18.50€ and Pizza Prosciutto et Funghi (8.50€ , Spaghetti Pomodoro con Basilico (7€ and Gnocchi al Gorgonzola (8€ ), which children like to eat. There was enough time to take a closer look at the restaurant. The upper floor is a kind of gallery with railing towards the open floor and is divided into several seating areas by dark brown stands, which offer space for 8 four-seater tables. The largely jewelleryless walls are white tinted, the windows are structurally low and small. The room is brightly illuminated by Paulmann spotlights embedded in the ceiling. The furniture is pleasantly uniform in the style of the 20s. The tables, quite massive, are covered with super white-clean strengthened linen, then only a small white design vase with yellow rose and a filigree-forged high lighter with basically new candle. To this end strengthened napkins and hepp cutlery of heavier execution. There was no music despite existing loudspeakers, and it was not particularly loud. Overall, therefore, a very reserved, but quite tasteful ambience. Bread and Platmenage were brought before, perhaps thought as Amuse Gueule. Unfortunately, plates were missing so that the delicious self-baked bread could only be inoculated with olive oil and fed without drops. The appetizers came after about 20 minutes. Vitello Tonnato, dressed in the middle of a round white plate, buried completely under the tuna paste and decorated solely with a few capers, tasted as expected. Very well the salmon carpacchio with thin salmon slices, which completely covered the chilled plate, with parmesan splinters, rocket, balsamic strips and red pepper visually very appealing. In the combination of tastes and appearance, this was a first highlight. The main courts were brought after a waiting period. Before the standard dishes: the Pizza Prosciutto et Funghi was appealing and plentiful, on the edge crispy, but inside unfortunately pappy and so saturating that it was not to cope. The spaghetti Pomodoro et Basilico came without basil, without any decoration and without the usual parmesan, the Gnocchi also without tasteful or visual surprises. Very nice, however, the Paillard di Vitello at 18.50 Euro (photo, a dish-filling piece of veal with a thickness of 5mm, outside nicely grilled, inside pink, with a herb rest of rosemary and sage. There were soured fennel and rose cabbage and potato columns baked in olive oil and garlic. The meat was delicate with pleasant taste after the herbal dressing and was tastefully complemented by the unfortunately somewhat colourless and far garden supplements. Intermediate questions as to whether the food was in order were neither at the appetizer nor at the main court. No dessert was also offered. Since all the dishes were saturating, we left the Dolce and left it with two espresso (2.30€ ), which came with perfect crema in warmed cups, but without amarettini or the like. The invoice was ordered and taken without further notice. Also not for the Bambinis. Thus the service is really only average, and this depends not only on the kindness. When I eat, I tend to four stars, pizza and pasta at the Lachs-Carpaccio and at the Paillard di Vitello, we only appeared as an average of creativity and taste. We like our Italians better. But at least it's chic at Silvano...
Excellent meat and fish. Super quality and freshness. With regard to the guests sometimes something much “see and be seen...”
Very delicious pizza and salad, lush summer evening. For me the Dolce vita.
A very tastefully decorated restaurant. The staff is very friendly and friendly. The menu is balanced and offers something for every taste. The dishes are very tasty and are very rich. The price-performance ratio is really given here
The best Italian in the area! Here the ingredients are freshly bought and prepared daily. I personally like to come with my wife to dinner (Filet)Steak. The expensive steak restaurants in Hanover also sound not strange, but in the quality and excellent chefs. My wife loves to eat Scampi that you get not at least in Wunstorf, but also in the other environment in quality. But every other dish tastes here and we were never disappointed. Also recommended is the ingenious daily card with some dishes you only get in Italy. To perfect the whole, the service is also very friendly and accommodating! My favorite restaurant!
