Mr. Barbecue Restaurant In W - Ws

Traveling through Winston Salem , wanted some BBQ, this was not the place for good BBQ, sides of cole slaw and potato salad were not great either.

The cashiers were more involved in planning their dinner than communicating with the costumers

Service was fast but the food was mediocre/subpar. Couldn’t even force down the sides. We came here based on the reviews. I don’t know how they have more than 4 stars.

I ordered online and went to pick it up. Unfortunately, the staff took a minute to understand that I was picking up an online order I placed as they didn’t speak English very well. I truly loved the chopped sandwich and brisket. And the coleslaw is PERFECT. HOWEVER, I did not expect the banana pudding to be warm, which is fine. But the bananas in it were hard and brown which was absolutely disgusting.

Staff is always patient and nice. Food has always been good. Never had a long wait in drive thru. I actually wait longer when dining in.
