Bidrage med feedbackMy partner and I have just been her for a Sunday lunch, what a absolute disaster, worst food I’d ever had, everything was frozen or pre packed. I did comment to the staff that I’d of been embarrassed to serve that food, she didn’t seem to care. Will definitely not be having food there again what a waste of £10.95 x2 It was vile and not even edible my dog ate the meat I tried to eat some but it was making me feel sick, during these cost of living crisis I think they’ve got a cheek to expect cash for that ridiculous so called Sunday Lunch
Got there at 7.30 was told they had stopped doing food. It states food stops at 8
Food was good I had cheddar leek and potato pie and my partner the chicken burger. All the condiments you could need on the table including salad cream in the glass bottle which I’ve not seen before. Will definitely be returning here.
We called in on the off chance of a quick bite to eat on our way home . We`ve passed many times but never been in. We had soup and ribs n wings as starters and then two lots of cod and chips. It was all served piping hot and tasted good. We were informed it was a new chef and so were not really expecting miracles to be honest. The lady behind the bar was lovely and although the food was a little slow in arriving it wasn`t disappointing. Would call again if in the area.
Recently visited the Red Lion to celebrate my mums 83rs Birthday, 10 of us across 4 generations, everyone of us enjoyed our meals and thought good value. Couldn 't of been more welcoming, especially with the grandkids, gave us the summer room all to ourselves, was a lovely setting on a warm evening, great big beer garden, the kids loved the bouncy castle Thanks to the landlord for a lovely evening. We 'll be back
