Bidrage med feedbackMeat lovers haven! This place is laid back with a great ambiance! I love their meat selection plus the salads and banana fritters and grilled pineapple. For 43$ you can enjoy their savory meat which is served on your table continuously.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the endless supply of perfectly cooked and subtlely seasoned meat brought to your table! Great service great vibe almost like Carnavale!!!
First thing I noticed was how spacious this place is, which I really liked. Tables were set up in long rows (like harry potter dining hall style , lighting was nice and I liked the decor it 's simple, clean and not cluttered. We were shown to our table and the waitress explained that everything is included in the $49pp, except drinks. And we didn 't need to do anything and the food will be brought to us perfect! Then sure enough few seconds later the wait staff start bringing around food to offer us. They also brought us sides of beans, rice and creamy potatoes. I 'm not used to going to a restaurant, then sit down amd start eating straight away, so that felt a bit weird. But hey, no waiting for food!!! Can 't complain about that. : <br/ <br/ Overall I thought the food is okay, some meats better than others but I guess that depends on personal preference. Their cheese balls are supposedly good but I found them to be a bit doughy/plasticky. It 's a great place for meat lovers but I personally would 've like a bigger variety of veggies to balance the meat (though we only had 3 salads offered: caesar, greek and rocket . Also, a lot of the food came in small amounts so there wasn 't enough to give to everyone in our group (7 ppl , but it 's ok because the staff will keep coming back once there 's a new batch. Together with drinks (sangria a pineapple cocktail of some sort we ended up paying $60pp. I don 't know how 'Brazilian ' the meal was and I wouldn 't exactly say it 's good value for money (unless you can eat a LOT of course but it was still a decent experience. We had great service from friendly staff. It 's worth a try if you love meat and are able to fit a lot of it in your tummy! :
The first thing you will notice is how big and spacious the restaurant really is and then all the long communal tables perfect for groups. There were just the 2 of us, so we were seated at the smaller tables, dotted around the restaurant. They offer 2 seatings on Friday and Saturday nights, 6pm and 8pm. We decided to have an early dinner so booked for 6pm. During our dinner, we figured we probably did not need to book, as although there were many diners, there were still a lot of empty tables. I am unsure if their 8pm seating is more popular, but best to book to be sure.<br/ <br/ After being seated, a waitress came over and explained the menu, letting us know that we did not need to order anything, as along with the meats, the sides and sauces would be served to our table throughout the night. This is a bit different to other churrascarias, as normally we would have to order our preferred sides. We ordered some drinks and the waitress asked us if we would like to start off with some rice and baked potatoes and although we initially declined, she insisted that the potatoes were really good, so we decided to give them a try. The potatoes were indeed nice, but not the kind of thing you would want to fill up on. Don't waste your stomach space on these!<br/ <br/ The meats started coming out soon after, with the chorizo and chicken sausages coming around quite often. Most meats came out on a plate, already carved up, and the waiters simply used tongs to serve from the plate to yours. There isn't anything that is carved up in front of you, as anything that are on skewers are already portioned and are just pulled out eg. chorizo, chicken hearts, chunks of chicken etc. Beef and lamb cuts are really good, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Grilled haloumi was delicious and the chicken hearts were brought out more regularly than other places we had been to. I did not enjoy any of the pork however, as they were a little too dry for my liking. After about 6 meat offerings, the waiters started bringing out the sides. These included Greek, caesar and rocket salads, French fries, green beans, cheese bread etc. I was a little disappointed to not see any polenta or cassava chips amongst the sides. They alternated between the meats and the sides during service.<br/ <br/ Servings are really generous and waiters even ask you how much you want of something. They are not stingy and are more than happy with any requests. They are also very attentive, walking around to see if tables needed anything and very observant when our supply of chimichurri and salsa needed refilling. <br/ <br/ Unfortunately, there were a few things on the menu that were not on rotation, the peri peri chicken in particular. At the end of our meal, we asked a waiter if there were any BBQ pineapple and he said they had run out, which was quite strange, considering we were dining during the earlier seating and we did not see any at all during the night. We decided to try the fried banana and they were delicious. Freshly fried, the bananas were soft and sweet with a light and crispy batter, coated in cinnamon sugar. <br/ <br/ $49pp for all you can eat BBQ meats, sides and sauces. Pretty good, considering other places charge a bit more and extra for sauce to accompany your meal. Great place for carnivores.
Very good Brazilian I must say. After having dined at my fair share of Brazilian Churrasco restaurants (four in total) including one in Rio Di Janiero. This is the best, probably equal with the recently closed Viva Brazil in Melbourne. Top notch meats, from smoked to BBQed. Cool but odd delicious sides including fries and cheese bread. Friendly staff! Questionable tables and chairs however. Solid value at $49 per head.
