China Wok - Woodstock

I ordered the seafood with garlic sauce, which was supposed to include crab meat, shrimp, scallops, green peppers, snow peas, water chestnuts, and black mushrooms, all for $17.85 as advertised on the flyer/menu. However, what I received was fake crab meat and small shrimp, with lots of broccoli, onions, shredded carrots, and small button mushrooms, all in a garlic sauce, also for the same price. When I complained, the waitress said she would speak to the manager, but I knew she was lying because she had told me she was the manager last year. It seems they are not honest about their menu items and charge the same price for cheaper substitutes that are not listed on the flyer. I do not trust them to be truthful. Beware!

We ordered two portions of General Tso's chicken for takeout. The total price was $21.70. They accidentally gave us the wrong order, but quickly rectified the mistake. This was the best General Tso's chicken we have ever had. The order also came with two servings of rice, soy sauce, and fortune cookies. I highly recommend this menu item, although I cannot comment on the rest of the menu as we did not try anything else.

I arrived at the restaurant at 5:30 to place an order for pick up, only to be told that my order would not be ready until 6:45. Despite this long wait time, my party decided to wait. When we returned at the suggested time to pick up our food, we were informed that the restaurant had somehow "lost" our order. This was extremely frustrating as it meant not only wasting our time, but also having to find another place to order from. The staff did not offer any apologies or attempt to rectify the situation, leaving us waiting for an hour with no resolution.

I was told that this place was a great place. No, thanks. chicken roast rice had 4 heaps. no taste. we have wasted most of it, as everyone said, blaaaa broccoli had a strange taste. the suppe was even worse and they gave 10 crunchy. really? wont be...back worse I've ever eaten

The order is always right. The food is always fresh and tasty. Great takeout or they have a couple of tables to eat in. Must try...cream cheese and crab wonton. Delicious!
