Overall the accommodation in the pub was very good, the employees were attentive, but not excessive, I did not quite enjoy my meal, but the rest of our party has its.

Very good lunch in a beautiful location. eating was plentiful and tasty. the personal was particularly good.

Average food, with very average service and a bad menu. they had also been harvested from a few things, although we ordered lunches.

Biked here for Sunday roast prior to going to Blenheim palace to see the lights. Building was lovely-ordered four lamb roasts-served up in a reasonable time.However the portions were small-two small roasted potatoes and limited veg-could job we ordered extra sides. The food was served just warm not hot and was £20 a head so on the dearer side for a roast dinner. On top of this they have a compulsory service charge not. Discretionary service charge of 10%. For me a tip should be down to the customers not the business to expect one. Would i recommend I have to say no as value for money was not there.

Went for a Sunday roast and was expecting better not going to lie. I always wanted to go to The Crown as it looked like such a lovely place to eat. Although the ambiance was lovely, and very cosy feels, the food was average. We got seated and immediately ordered our food. Straight away the food came out which shocked us. We both ordered a lamb roast which cost £20 which is quite a lot for a roast especially one that wasn't great. The potatoes weren't crispy, the gravy lacked A LOT of flavour; it was really watery and not great, and there wasn't a lot of veg the only good thing was the meat and the Yorkshire pudding. We waited a long time after we had finished for the plates to be picked up and then longer again for them to take our dessert order. The dessert saved the meal but also was average. The service towards the end wasn't personal or hospitable not impressed considering our meal cost £60 £6.00 service charge I appreciate at times like this it can be busy, but please set our expectations when we enter. I will not be going back any time soon which is a shame as the interior was super lovely and cosy.
