El Charro Restaurant - Woodland

This is my mom's favorite restaurant and she LOVES their fiesta salad with carne asada! So for Mother's Day, I called them from southern CA and asked if they would be willing to make a delivery to Esparto if I paid extra....they were willing ! They went the extra mile and made my mom feel very loved on her special day. My mom said it was about the best meal she'd ever had! How wonderful that there are people in the world who care for others well!

Very disappointed! I ordered 2 crispy chicken tacos. The chicken was boiled with no seasoning whatsoever. The cheese was put in the taco with an eye dropper, and there were about 3 very small pieces of tomato and lettuce inside. Absolutely the worst taco I've ever had. My husband ordered a Margarita and he had to go to the bar and find out where it was. He also ordered the 7 seas soup and got only 3 kinds of fish and said it wasn't all that good, especially for $23. We won't be coming back.

Very good food correct amount of spices to be authentic. Had chili rellanos w rice n beans. Good beans also. I will be back

Great authentic Mexican food, not Americanised. The Mexican softdrink was very good but a bit expensive. I liked it very much but the fairly loud music made it a bit difficult to have a conversation, at least for us a bit up in age. Tidy and clean with pleasent staff.

The menu is extensive, friendly service and delicious food. They say you can tell the quality of a Mexican restaurant by the flavor of their complimentary salsa. This place did not disappoint. The enchiladas were delicious and so were the rice and beans.
