The Three Jolly Wheelers - Woodford

This is a nice pub and when the food is correct it 's decent, however last year I was fed a veg pie with blue cheese in it! Stupidly, they had two dishes by the same name, one vegan and one not. After a few mouthfuls I knew something wasn 't right. Management didn 't apologise, just repeated it 's not your fault . This pub is local to my partner 's family so I 've been in there since, this time what we wanted wasn 't available.. New management are a lot better now, and one of the chefs is really accommodating so maybe worth seeing it for yourself.

Frustrated at the waiting time to check, nobody showed us where to go. It was not pointed out that my 1st 2nd elections were not available. No fillet or rib eye steaks offered me a rag steak that was not at all on the menu, with all the trims of a fry at the price of the frying. I had, but the steak wasn't tender and quite dry. We can expect the roasts to be finished early Sunday evening, but also not steaks and other dishes. We were not asked how the food was, so no suitable opportunity to let them know. The waitress asked if we wanted any sauces when she brought the food, my husband asked about vinegar, but it was never brought to him. The water dispenser through the dog bowls was empty, luckily we had taken ourselves. It was nicely renovated and very pleased that they now allow dogs in some areas of the restaurant, but the food has not improved and the service was very bad. The area we sat with our dog was not a full table service, as we had to order food and drinks at the bar.

After we have not decided this pub for 2 years because of very bad service to give it now as a new management, it is a nice pub, but it lacks atmosphere especially late in the evening probably due to it closing at 11:00, the food was ok, but above prices above all the starters.

Really bad service. The staff could not with our table of 6 and always our orders wrong and it was all very slow. They always forgot to take things out so that we were still looking for a waiter to ask them to bring along the missing dishes/drinks. The food was average. Good atmosphere and with better employees it would have been a much better experience.

We have booked for a Mother’s Day Set menu, were said there were no broccoli or cauliflower cheese left and it was only 3pm, but we overhear the waitress say another table that they cook a new batch. The main (roast) was tasteless and the meat was very fat, Veg was also rock hard
