Bidrage med feedbackI chose this restaurant because the promo mentioned Cuban cuisine, which I had not had before. I asked the server what he'd recommend. He said the most Cuban dish is the Seafood Paella, which I ordered. The dish was mediocre; the seafood consisted of calamari, small clams, scallops, and shrimp. The scallops and shrimp were well over-cooked and the dish was short on flavor. It was certainly not worth the $20+ I paid for it. I also ordered a Brazilian cocktail called a Caipirinha. This was a watered down version of the real thing. I know because I spend 3-4 months in Brasil every year. I told the server never to serve that to a Brazilian. The server said he would convey my comments to the kitchen and the bartender but made no effort to make amends for the mediocre quality of the food. The DiningGuide rated the restaurant with 5 Smilies. I would not be that generous.
This Cuban/Latin Restaurant is a treasure on Long Island. The Latin Music, Vibrant Colors and exotic features will transport you to a tropical Island. The restaurant is chic, upscale and very affordable. I recommend any of the 3 locations.
