Hartzview Vineyard Cafe - Woodbridge

We stopped (after finding this hidden locale on TripAdvisor) the last minute around 2pm..the staff were delightful and very welcoming. The put us (the only clients) by the fire and quickly gave us a tasting to order some wine. We ordered a beef pie and the Thai chicken curry pie and salad. The chicken pie and salad were good and the greens so fresh. Must say my husband's beef pie ws less than successful and the crust too hard to cut - ruined the flavor experience. The wine was ok...not worth taking the pinot home

We went here for lunch and were the only people here. Jess was the most wonderful host and she knew her stuff! We all really enjoyed our lunch (best pies around!!) and felt very relaxed and welcomed. Highly recommend a visit!

My wife and I decided to spend a day just driving around and discovering areas near Hobart. We discovered the Hartzview Vineyard cafe by accident, and decided to stop and see what it offered.The cafe and "winery" are cosy and situated high on a hill with a restive rural view. We purchased some miniature bottles of liqueurs and novelty ciders and wines as gifts, and then had a coffee and snack in the restaurant overlooking the valley.If you are in the region and have an hour to spare it is worth visiting.

Love this place, the salads are just divine, the lettuce is so fresh, just picked from their gardens. We had the smoked salmon crepes and salad, absolutely beautiful. The views and surroundings are great, the staff super friendly and helpful. The wines and liqueurs are a real treat! Try the Raspberry liqueur and Cassis are my favourites. Wholeheartedly recommend this lovely place.
